Q Estate Agent’s Guide To Brighton and Hove

At Q Estate Agents we have been patiently waiting for the easing of lockdown restrictions so we can get back out to visit the places we love most around Brighton. As long-standing residents of Brighton and Hove we are happy to be out supporting local businesses again and it is an honour to see our city coming to life again.

In Brighton and Hove, we have our pick of independent, quirky and good quality establishments. We have compiled a list of our office favourites to share with you whether you are visiting for the day or are a resident.

LET’S TALK FOOD!

The Flint House

The Flint House is an all-round office favourite, visited last year for our office annual meal and among the staff individually in recent months. Located in the heart of Brighton’s beautiful lanes the building is elegant and stylishly designed throughout adding to the dining experience. Offering a range of small plates and an extensive wine list to compliment, you are hard pressed to find anything offering the same standard and excitement of The Flint House.

(They also have a great cocktail lounge and roof terrace for post dinner drinks!)

The New Club

The New Club is a bar and restaurant located on Brighton Seafront they describe themselves as a ‘’LA indie coffee house meets New York’’ which we think captures the laid-back essence of Brighton. A great place to visit before heading down towards the seafront or along to Hove Lawns during the hot summer days. The New Club offers style and good food with a creative edge and we highly recommend their brunches.

ENTERTAINMENT

The Warren

The Warren is a Brighton cult classic appearing every summer at the start of June. It is undoubtedly the ultimate signal of summer starting to all local residents. The Warren is described as a ‘’festival within a festival’’, carefully managed and curated they offer a range of unique events from theatre, comedy, dance to live music. Along with entertainment they serve top-notch food and have an extensive collection of festival bars.

You could easily spend your entire weekend here lost in the magic that is The Warren.

The Shelter Hall

Opening its doors for the first time in 2020 the Shelter Hall has already established itself as a go to destination for events, food and drinks. The prime location of Shelter Hall is just one of its key features. A local collaboration has been formed with Brighton’s influential Audio Active and BIMM which sees new performance showcases every Tuesday. They have resident DJs performing every Friday and Saturday and low-key Sunday sessions. If you are looking for something more private and secluded, they offer a private dining experience in an exclusive dining room with sea views. They also boast several exclusive new food concepts from Sussex chefs.
