During these times everything is still a little uncertain but one thing for sure is kids still have big dreams. We believe it’s important now more than ever for children to be creative and tap into that side of themselves. Our project is a fun, creative no pressure way to spend some time whether that’s at home or outside now the suns making an appearance (at last!). The idea is for the children to draw us the house they dream to have when they are older if that’s a house shaped like a shoe or something that resembles a spaceship that is absolutely fine.
Any entries submitted will post on our social media account, some created to be window cards for our front window display and some sent out on our newsletters.
To say thank you and show our support to some local Brighton and Hove business we will be holding a raffle for anyone who submits any artwork. The raffle will include:
- A gift card for The Book Nook an independent award-winning children book shop specialising in the knowledge of children.
(They have also been hosting great Facebook events throughout lockdown Celebrating new books, catching up with author and illustrator friends and sharing all things bookish)
- A gift card for Whirligig Toyshop
