The flat itself has been lovingly brought to life by its current owners and is full of character and charm. Entering you find yourself in a spacious hallway which really sets the tone for the rest of the property and the space you get. The hallway is painted in a cheerful yellow and has attractive original wood flooring which flows throughout the home. The lounge is a colourful bright space with plenty of natural light. The lounge is a great place to relax or socialise and also benefits from a separate study room to the side which is ideal for anyone needing a separate workspace or more storage.

The kitchen has been attractively finished with a Scandinavian style mix of white and wooden units. Separate from the kitchen you have a utility room with space for both a washing machine and a dryer.

What the owner says:
“We’ve loved living in our Roundhill flat. As well as being within walking distance to both the sea and central Brighton, we’ve particularly enjoyed being in such close proximity to the vibrant London Road bars, shops and restaurants as well as Preston Park and the Open Market. Some of the best roasts in Brighton are within a 5 min walk! It’s a really handy place to live for getting out and about, whether you’re walking, cycling or taking public transport. Brighton train station is less than 15 minutes away on foot and there are lots of bus links nearby taking you across the city.
As for the flat- it’s purpose built so the rooms just make sense. There’s ample storage throughout and lots of natural light. Very thick walls & ceilings as well as double-glazed windows keeps the flat warm and quiet, sometimes making us forget we’re living in the middle of the city. We immediately fell in love with the real wooden floorboards and the green spaces surrounding the flat on all sides. The office space has been invaluable during lockdown when working from home.
We’ve been fortunate to have really friendly neighbors in the block and to be a part of the positive community spirit of the Sylvan Hall estate. We’re so sad to be leaving our lovely flat but due to moving to a new city we have to let it go.”
